Street
As it happens
Some say street photography is about people in cities. I disagree.
To me street photos are a blend of endless aspects.
They cover all walks of life and highlight urban narratives, including all that can be seen or felt, excluding nothing, but yet respecting everything and everyone.
They can be captured candidly or by engaging the subjects.
Making an image can be a deliberate and intentional act, but capturing unhinged emotions and fleeting expressions dig deeper in to the essence of street photography. Results may sometimes be grand, but mostly imperfect, as we all are; and at best awakening, thought provoking and challenging the viewer’s perception.
What could be more satisfying than giving attention to the hidden, sharing the joy you have unexpectedly witnessed, or pointing out the beauty of the mundane and less polished; things that many do not see because they are so obvious? Until you show them!
